In my last post, I couldn’t fall asleep. My mind was racing and I was starting to panic. After I put my phone down (which is what you shouldn’t really be doing about an hour before bed…even if you have night mode on!!), I lay on my back, closed my eyes, focused on my breathing, and I woke up the next day. However, this doesn’t work for me all the time. Here are top three tips that work for me:

Justin and I were both off today, so we decided to go on a brunch date! We didn’t eat breakfast before we started our morning. He just came home from the gym, and me from my orthodontist appointment… so you know we were hungry! I was craving some thick french toast, bacon, eggs…yumm let’s go try Sabrina’s Cafe!

January 4, 2018 was the first snow day of the year! I woke up to beautiful news: “Offices will be closed today, Thursday, January 4th.” Then I got multiple text messages from my coworkers saying “We’re closed!!!” Happy me went back to sleep.
